CH27 ACR & ACC

STOPPING THE CHIPPER

Slow the tractor engine speed to idle before disengaging

the PTO. This is especially important with tractors fea-

turing a PTO brake. Turn the PTO control lever slowly

to the OFF position.

When the chipper is shut down, the

cutting disk continues to rotate -

just like a flywheel - after the PTO

has been disengaged.

Please wait until the disk has stop-

ped completely before performing

any further actions.

The chipper requires approx. 9 minutes to slow

down from maximum speed to complete stop (1000

rpm -> 0 rpm).

FIXED SAFETY SWITCH

LOCATION AND USE OF SAFETY SWITCHES

If necessary, the feed can be shut off using a safety switch.

The feeder device will stop immediately when the safety

switch is pressed. Note! The rotor will continue rotating.

A fixed safety switch is located on the chipper's upper

housing next to the winch. The other moveable safety

switch is to be placed in the cab of the tractor feeding

wood, within easy reach of the operator.
