Agent announcement
If specified, the audio announcement configured here is
played to the agent receiving the call before putting the call
through. E.g. “The following call comes from the support
queue”
Join announcement
If specified, this announcement is played to a caller before
being placed in the queue.
Music on hold class
If selected, audio recordings from the specified music on
hold category is played to the caller while waiting in the
queue. If this field is configured to 'inherit', the music on
hold setting for the destination that transferred the caller to
this queue (e.g. an inbound route) is retained.
Ringing instead of
music on hold
If enabled, this supersedes the music on hold class and the
caller hears ringing while waiting in the queue.
Max wait time
If not unlimited, the caller will be taken out of the queue
after the specified wait time.
Max callers
If specified, only this amount of users are allowed to wait in
the queue. 0 indicates an unlimited number of callers.
Join empty
This field governs caller entry into queue. Options are:
Yes: Callers are allowed to join a queue which has no
agents logged in.
No: Callers are not allowed to join an empty queue.
Strict: If agents are logged in but none are available, users
are not allowed to join the queue.
Leave when empty
This field governs caller exit from queue when no more
agents are logged in. Options are:
No: Callers remain in the queue even when no agents are
available or all agents have logged out of the queue.
Yes / Strict: Callers remain in the queue even when no
agents are available , but if all agents have logged out, the
caller is removed from the queue.
Ring strategy
This field determines the ringing strategy for the group.
Available options are:
•
ringall: Ring all available extensions until a channel
answers. This is the default strategy. Note that only
extensions that were available at the time of the call
will be included in the ringing list. Extensions
becoming available after ringing has started will not
