5 Operations
5.1 Operation procedure of startup (auto-control mode)
Inspections include mainly the following procedures before commissioning:
Check the assurance of connections of each extruder barrel, anchor bolts, bolts between motor
base and machine frame, and bolts between extruder and machine frame. No single loose
connection is allowed.
Check the circuit at the terminal connections of motor wiring box.
Rotate the main shaft manually and ensure no touching noise inside of the extruder barrels, or
else, make necessary adjustmen.
Turn on steam to check on the steam pipelines of the contioner for any leakage and on the
connections of each pipeline if firm. Then shut down the steam source, drain out the steam
and clean the filter.
Check the protective guards if in place.
Check for any leakage in the oil tank and bearings. Add the bearing oil to circulation cooling if
the oil drops below the mark of normal level.
Check the rotation of each motor according to the posted signs and do relevant adjustments.
Make all motors idle running to check for any abnormality.

Conduct relevant operations upon sure confirmation of the preparation done.
Preheat the principal machine of extruder.
Switch the button by the bridge-breaking feeding bin to "automatic" mode on the image of
"production status" in Fig.5-1 on touch screen.
Switch water and steam to "automatic" mode on the image of "liquid application" (of conditioner)
in Fig.5-2 on touch screen.
Switch water and steam to "automatic" mode on the image of "liquid application" (of extruder
barrels) in Fig.5-3 on touch screen.
