1.6.
Medical device description
The delivery table structure enables a quick position change into the armchair position, which reduces
the preparation time for labour and ensures safety of the labour positions. The lying surface is made of
lacquered steel with stainless elements. The permanent lying surface, seat and extended lying surface
sections come complete with plastic mouldings, whereas the backrest section (with auto-regression) –
with a decorative board. The delivery table is equipped with security features protecting it against
impact on room walls while rolling.
The table can be smoothly adjusted: lying surface height, Trendelenburg, reverse Trendelenburg,
backrest and seat angles, are adjusted by electrical actuators. These functions are controlled from the
central control panel (it can lock the electrical functions), wire controller and control panels in the side
rails. The table can optionally be operated by use of foot controllers.
Removable boards – attached to the lying surface frame. The side rails have a mechanism which
allows them to be lowered. By default, the rails come equipped with control panels.
By default, the delivery table comes equipped with casters with a central locking device or, optionally,
with individual locking devices.
In order to disconnect the bed from the mains, unplug the power cord.
The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce modifications in the device and its instruction
manual, which modifications arise from technical progress.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify and change all the parameters and pieces of
equipment, notably the ones related to the structure, technology and materials, without
compromising the technical-utility parameters and safety of the device.
1.7.
Safety
The device structure ensures safe operation and use, provided that the principles contained in this
instruction manual are observed.
•
The patient's weight and additional equipment's, mounted at the delivery table, may not
exceed 40 st (250 kg).
•
Maximum permissible load of the extended lying surface: up to 27 st (170 kg).
•
Obligatorily exercise caution while adjusting the extended lying surface in relation to the
permanent one, as the distance between the permanent frame and extended one is too
small (if the pressure knob is used). In extreme cases, it may lead to crushing the patient's
or user's fingers.
•
Maximum permissible working load of the foot support: up to 500 N.
•
If the device is to be used as a standard bed, mount the footboard.
•
Maximum permissible working load of the calf support, mounted in the multi-position
holder, on the fastening strip: up to 5 st (30 kg).
•
Maximum permissible working load of the hand holder, mounted in the multi-position
holder, on the fastening strip: up to 500 N.
•
Maximum permissible working load of all the infusion rod hooks: up to 0.5 st (3 kg).
•
The central control panel enables the table movement after power supply failure (only a few
cycles, until the battery runs out). It is used for moving the table into a particular position
in emergency situations. However, do not overuse this function!
•
The delivery table is intended for patients whose height does not exceed 79 in (200 cm).
•
If there is a risk that the patient's condition (e.g. disorientation due to medical reasons or
her clinical state) might lead to trapping the patient, then the lying surface ought to remain
flat, in the absence of supervision (unless otherwise advised by the medical staff, or under
special/particular circumstances).
