Connect the emergency telephone to the alarm button (“ALARM”)
x
Connect the emergency telephone to an analogue telephone line
(“TELE”)
x
Set to programming mode. Programming can be initiated approximately
20 sec. after the telephone has been connected to the telephone line.
If breaking alarm button is used:
programming mode is activated by
pressing “0” and the alarm button for about 10 sec.
If closing alarm button is used:
Only “0” must be pressed after the
telephone line is connected. After programming of alarm button with closing
function, next activation of programming mode is done by pressing “0” and the
alarm button.
Programming mode is indicated by sound and flashing green LED. After each
programming sequence, a 4-tone beep confirms that the telephone has
accepted the programming. If no button is pushed during a time lapse of
30 sec., programming mode is automatically deactivated.
Jumper
Attach jumper should only be plugged in, next to green screw socket,
when all 3 conditions below prevail:
1. Single mounting of elevator telephone
2. Line voltage is lower than 32 VDC on telephone line
3. Elevator phone is connected to internal telephone exchange
(PABX)
N.B! Never connect to the public telephone net (PSTN) with jumper
attached!
