1. Functional description
(with all components connected)
The sound will be activated as soon as one of the inputs S1…S5 is connected
with COM by an instantaneous button or reed contact (e.g. a track contact).
Only one sound can be activated at a time. A restart is only possible after program
expiry. Closed switches must be opened again before a restart.
Contact COM linked to S1:
Sound: Village church
approx. 2 min., 15 seconds
Contact COM linked to S2:
Sound: Town church
approx. 2 min., 30 seconds
Contact COM linked to S3:
Sound: 3 o’clock stroke
approx. 30 seconds
Contact COM linked to S4:
Sound: Small church
approx. 1 min., 45 seconds
Contact COM linked to S5:
Sound: Chapel
approx. 1 min., 30 seconds
2. Function test
(with all components connected)
- Connect electronic equipment to 12 V DC or 16 V AC.
- Shortly connect socket S1 with socket COM by means of a wire.
Village church sound will be activated for about 2 min. and 15 seconds.
End of program.
- Shortly connect socket S2 with socket COM by means of a wire.
Town church sound will be activated for about 2 min. and 30 seconds.
End of program.
3. Description of possible errors and their cuases
Error:
Cause:
Electronic equipment without function.
Microcontroller of electronic equipment
is out of operation.
Remedy:
Separate electronic equipment for approx. 15...20 seconds from
transformer and re-connect it; this will cause the microcontroller to be
restarted
.
Error:
Cause:
Sound cannot be restarted.
One of the switches is still closed.
Remedy:
Open all switches at S1…S5.
