You can use the Route planning to plan and preview routes in advance from the comfort of
your home. Not only can you display the route and travel time, but you can also simulate the
calculated route on your Falk navigation device. The Route planning has a similar structure
to the destination entry menu.
Creating new routes
To create a new route, press
Create new route
.
From the list that appears below you can select how or from which source you would like to
enter the addresses for the various stages of the route. You can either enter the addresses
anew or add them from other sources (Last destinations, Saved favourites, Points of interest,
Travel Guide). The stages of the route can also be determined via a position selected directly
on the map or by entering coordinates.
Press
the
OK
button in the corresponding entry menu to save the destination stage.
To enter additional stages of the route, press the button
Add stage of route
in the list of
stages as described above.
Press
the
Finish
button once you have entered all destination stages.
Enter a self-chosen name for the route.
The Stages menu of the new route is displayed.
Browsing and editing saved routes
Press the arrow buttons on the right-hand edge of the screen to browse the saved routes.
You can add additional stages to a saved route, change the name of the route or delete a
route.
Press the button
before the route you want to edit.
You can now add a stage to the route by pressing
Add stage
.
After clicking on
Rename route
, you can assign a new name for the route.
You can delete the route from the save routes by pressing the button
Delete route
.
Selecting and starting a route
Select a route by clicking on the name you have assigned. The route is loaded and displayed
in the Stages menu.
Press the button
"
calculate (Route name)"
.
Note:
You can also select a stage of the route. The route is then started from this stage.
Select a starting point or the current position, or the first destination entered as the
starting point for the guidance info.
Note
: When a starting point is selected, its only purpose is for viewing a route.
The individual stages are calculated. A map is then displayed with the stages.
Press
the
Start
button to start the guidance info of the route.
You can call up the route options using the
Options
button.
