1. Start the device.
2. Select the
language
you want.
3. Select the
country map
you want.
4. Acknowledge the note on calibration of the
sensors by clicking on „OK“.
5. Enter your
home address
. You could then
select this at a later date with just one click
to be navigated back home directly. You can
change the address which is entered at any
time via
„Settings > System/General > Set Home“.
6. Switch to the
main menu
.
7. Carry out the calibration of the compass via „Settings > System/General > Calibrate Compass“ and follow the instructions of
the device. You must repeat the calibration when the compass needle is shown in grey in the title bar of the map view.
8. Carry out the calibration of the barometer via „Settings > System/General > Calibrate Compass“ and follow the instructions of
the device. Please note that, to obtain optimum values, you should carry out the calibration process again before each
walk/bike ride.
