Using the ladder – ladder folding

2)  Fold the ladder on the hatch by slowly placing each segment on top of the other.
Do not hold the stringers at the point of the hinged connection between segments to avoid
pinching your fingers.

3) Raise the hatch slowly. Then, hold the control rod placed in the opening of the lock firmly
with both hands and push the hatch upwards.

4) After closing the hatch, turn the control rod right, locking the hatch.
Make sure that the hatch is properly closed.
Not closing the hatch properly may lead to an accident.

1) Hold the lower segment with both hands and slowly raise it.
Do not hold the stringers at the point of the hinged connection between segments to avoid
pinching your fingers.

[1] When ascending or descending the ladder, always face the ladder and
hold tightly onto the treads or handrail with at least one hand.
[2] Remember not to climb the ladder in slippers, flip-flops or shoes that
can easily slip from the feet.
[3] While ascending or descending the ladder, be careful not to hit your
head on the front edge of the opening in the ceiling.
[4] While ascending or descending the ladder, do not hold the brackets,
springs or other hardware parts of the ladder.
[5] Do not hold the stringers at the point of the hinged connection between
segments to avoid pinching your fingers.
