Cleaning Mode
The limescales not only effect the quality of the coffee, but also cause a loss of power and
shorten the usage life of the appliance. The thicker the limescale layer, the more difficult it is
to remove.
After approximately 50 uses, the “Clean” LED light will light up and it is recommended to
clean the limescales from your appliance.
1. Fill the water tank to the max. line and add 1 teaspoon lemon salt and 100 ml vinegar.
2. Turn the control knob to “Clean” and the light will turn on. The “100 °C” will appear on the
display.
3. Press the On/Off button. The On /Off button’s LED will light and the water will start to
warm up.
4. When the temperature of the water reaches “100 °C”, the heating process will stop and it
will flow to the carafe until the water in the water tank runs out.
5. The cleaning process will be completed when the LED light next to “Clean” sign turns off.
6. It is recommended that in order to remove the vinegar smell, fill the water tank with clean
water and then restart the appliance.
WARNING!!
If cold water is placed in the water tank during the water flow from tank to the carafe, the
appliance does not interrupt the operation to continue water heating and it continues
to drain the water. Therefore, you should not add water to the water tank when the
appliance starts to drain water.
Standby Mode
If you wait 30 seconds without pressing any buttons while setting up the appliance, the
display of the appliance starts to show the time again, but it does not change the set
values. When you turn the control knob, you can return to the most recent settings and then
continue.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug the appliance. Never use abrasive materials to clean the appliance body. Clean it
with a damp cloth.
Never immerse the appliance in water or keep it under running water. Use the cleaning
mode to clean the water tank.
To clean the glass coffee carafe and filter, first remove the silicones and then you can wash
the carafe and the metal filter with warm water along with detergent.
Never put the silicone of the filter and the silicone of the glass carafe into the washing
machine. Hand wash thoroughly with warm water and detergent.
