Coarse filter
Larger items, such as pieces of bone or glass, that could clog the dra in are trapped
in the coarse filter. To remove an item caught in this filter, gently squeeze the tabs
on top of this filter and lift it out.
For your convenience, we have placed the drain pump and filtering system with in easy reach inside the tub.
There are three compone nts of the filtering system: the main filter, the coarse filter, and the fine filter.

Fine filter
This filter holds food residue in the sump area preventing it from bein g
redeposited onto the dishes during a cycle.
Main filter
Food particles trapped by this filter are broken down by a special jet on
the lower spray arm and washed down the drain.

Protecting Against Frozen Pump Damage
1. Cut off the electrical power to the di shw asher.
2. Turn o ff th e water supply and disconnect the water inlet pipe from the water valve.
3. Drain the water from th e inl et pipe and wate r val ve. (Use a pan to catch the water)
4. Reconnect the wat er inlet pipe to th e water valve.
5. Remove the filter a t the bot tom of the tu b and use a sponge to so ak up water i n the sump.
Cleaning the Spray Arms
If your dishwasher does not work because of ice ,
please contact professional service perso ns.
It is necessary to clean t he s pray arms re gularly in or der to preve nt
the clogging of the jets and bearings from hard water che mic als.
To remove the up per spray arm, turn the nut clockwise and
remove the a rm.
To remove th e lower spray arm, pull it upward.
Wash th e arms in soapy warm water and use a soft brush to
clean the jets. Replace th em after rinsing them thoroughly.
Please follow steps 1 through 3 in order to remove the filter system. In order to reinstall,
please
the steps in reverse order.
