4.
Re-dip your hand, foot or elbow into the wax using the same technique
as above three or four times. The more layers of wax you create help
insulate the heat therapy.
NOTE: The paraffin usually takes 12-15 minutes to completely
harden.
5.
After heat therapy is finished, peel the hardened wax from your
hand, foot or elbow. Start from the top and work in a downward motion
removing all the paraffin.
6.
We recommend that you discard the “shell” of hard wax, as it may
contain cell build up from the skin.
DO NOT PUT THE PARAFFIN
RESIDUE BACK INTO THE BATH UNIT.
7.
To complete your treatment and maintain softness, apply massage oil
or lotion of your choice to treated area.
Cleaning and Sanitizing Unit
When to clean unit
1.
When paraffin wax becomes discolored or dry.
2.
When there is evidence of build-up of skin or debris on the bottom of
the unit.
How to clean unit
1.
Allow the wax to solidify, which could take several hours.
2.
Before the wax totally hardens, insert 2 pencils (or sticks) into wax
at opposite ends. Once wax is completely hard, plug in unit and allow
the wax to become slightly warm, loosening around the edges. Use both
pencils to lift the block of wax out of the unit. Turn off, unplug, and let
the unit cool. Wipe out the inside of the tank and dry with cloth or paper
towel.
Sanitize
1.
Clean the unit with a disinfectant and wipe dry with cloth or paper
towel. (REMEMBER the unit MUST BE unplugged and cool before
cleaning).
2.
DO NOT USE any chlorine or bleach based cleanser.
