Safety laser scanner
The safety laser scanner ensures safe detection of people on the road in the direction of the main driving direction.
If this is activated, the vehicle stops automatically.
Never carry out repairs to the safety equipment.
Note:
The safety laser scanner works largely maintenance-free, the cover hood should be regularly cleared of
dust and dirt.
“Muting”
In some areas, the hall structure does not allow a lateral safety distance of 500 mm or even less. To be able to
drive in these areas, the safety scanner can be deactivated for a limited distance.
The function may only be activated in areas where there are no persons or which are unmistakably marked as
danger areas on the ground.
Safety
The vehicle consists of two (2) completely separate chassis units, each with an independent power supply circuit.

If an error or multiple errors occur during operation, the vehicle immediately begins to decelerate until it reaches
a safe stop. Then the load is reduced and the STO drive engines (Safe Torque Off) are switched off.
Errors and other unauthorised movements are monitored by the safety controller, which intervenes if necessary
and delays the vehicle. For example, in the case of battery failure on one side of the vehicle: the safety controller
intervenes, the vehicle brakes immediately, the load is lowered and the engines are switched of.
