Make sure that the On/Off switch

pressed. Only then should you connect the battery
pack to the equipment.

Do not switch on the jigsaw until you have fitted a
saw blade

Use only saw blades that are in perfect condition. Re

place blunt, bent or cracked saw blades immediately.

Place the saw foot flat on the workpiece you want to
saw. Switch on

the jigsaw.

Allow the saw blade

to accelerate until it reach-
es full speed. Then slowly move the saw blade along
the cutting line. Exert only gentle pressure on the
saw blade as you do so.

When cutting metal, apply a suitable coolant along
the line you want to cut.
SAWING OUT SECTIONS
Drill a 10 mm hole in the section you want to saw
out. Insert the saw blade

into this hole and start
to saw out the required section.
MAKING PARALLEL CUTS
Mount the parallel stop

and adjust as re-
quired. Observe the instructions in section MAK-
ING CUT.
MITER CUTS
Set the angle on the soleplate. Observe the in

LED LAMP
The LED lamp

can be used in poor lighting
conditions to additionally illuminate the cutting
position. The LED light

will come on automat-
ically as soon as you press the On/Off switch

MAINTENANCE
Regular inspection and cleaning reduces the ne
-
cessity for maintenance operations and will keep
your tool in good working condition. The motor
must be correctly ventilated during tool opera-
tion. For this reason avoid blocking the air inlets.
HANDLING & STORAGE
Although this machine is small in size, care must still
be taken when handling and lifting. Dropping this
machine will have an effect on the accuracy and may
also result in personal injury. This machine is not a toy
and must be respected.
The environment will have a negative result on its op-
eration if you are not careful. If the air is damp, com
-
ponents will rust. If the machine is unprotected from
dust and debris; components will become clogged:
And if not cleaned and maintained correctly or regu-
larly the machine will not perform at its best.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste. Machine, accessories and packag
-
ing should be sorted for environment -
friendly recycling. The plastic components
are labeled for categorized recycling.
GUARANTEE
This product is warranted in accordance with the le-
gal/country specific regulations, effective from the
date of purchase by the first user. Damage attribut

able to normal wear and tear, overload or improper
handling will be excluded from the guarantee. In
case of a claim, please send the machine, completely
assembled, to your dealer or the service Centre for
electric power tools.
