Prevention of undesirable effects

Reduce ambient temperature

Operate the device at an ambient temperature of max. 25°C.

Ensure that the ventilation slots of the display are not covered or polluted
by dust.
ACHTUNG!
Avoid direct sunlight
This extends the life-time of the display an reduce the risk of undesirable
effects.

Do not install or store the device in places with direct sunlight or near
heat sources.
ACHTUNG!
Operating time of device
The operating time should not be longer than 20 hours a day. The display
should be switched off for 4 hours. This extends the life-time of the display
and reduce the risk of undesirable effects.

Switch off or turning the device to Stand-by-mode for 4 hours.
NOTICE!
Avoiding static images
Static images increase the risk of undesirable effects.

Activate a screen saver on the computer for these signals if they do not
have to be surveyed as long as they do not change their content (e.g.
logos, pictograms...).

Scaling of the input signals
Avoid the static black borders on the screen.

Scale up signals, that do not have the same native aspect ratio as the
display, to use the entire screen area.
For example, a 4:3 image signal should be scaled up to 16:9 format to fill
the complete screen.
NOTICE!
Reduce the display brightness to 50 %
The reduced brightness enlarges the life-time of the display and allows
later readjustments of the brightness level.

Operate the device with brightness to 50% if possible.
