Input/Output tab
Click the
Input/Output
tab (see figure 25,

) to open the
Input/Output
screen. It
contains input information and HDCP authorization options.

Input Name — Displays the input name.

Signal Type — Displays the signal type of each input. Input 1 is
analog
, input 2 is
HDMI/DVI,
and input 3 is
DisplayPort
.

HDCP Authorized — Select either
HDCP Authorized
checkbox to enable or disable
the HDCP Authorized feature for the associated input. This feature determines if a digital
input reports as an HDCP authorized sink to a source.
NOTE: HDCP authorization applies only to inputs 2 and 3.

For source devices that require encryption, enable the HDCP Authorized feature.
If HDCP Authorized is disabled for sources that require encryption (for example, a
Blu-ray Disc™ player), the output is muted.
•
For source devices that encrypt their output even if the source material does not
require HDCP encryption, disable the HDCP Authorized feature to view the content
on non-HDCP compliant displays.
