On the larger rack shelves, the MTP can be mounted in the front
or the rear of the rack.
1
. Remove the feet from the bottom of the MTP if they are
already installed.

. Mount the MTP using two 4-40 x 3/16 inch screws in
opposite (diagonal) corners to secure the MTP to the shelf.

. Install false faceplate(s) or other unit(s) to the rack shelf.

. Insert the shelf into the rack, aligning the holes in the shelf
with those of the rack.

. Secure the shelf to the rack using the supplied machine
screws (see figure 2).
