Reset button (see figure 3 on page 7) — With a tweeker or other pointed tool,
press and hold the recessed reset button:
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to reset back to factory default. IP settings are
retained.
•
Press and hold for 10 seconds to reset back to factory default. IP settings are reset
to default.
• Press and hold while powering the unit on enables the unit to revert to factory
default firmware version and factory default setting.
NOTE:
The receiver can also be reset to factory settings using SIS commands (see
Reset on page 50) or PCS (see Device Menu on page 31).
Wiring Connections
Power Connector
A 12 VDC power supply is provided with the DTP2 R 212. Follow these instructions to wire
the 2‑pole captive screw connector to your power supply:
CAUTION:
The DC output cables must be kept separate from each other while the
power supply is plugged in. Remove power before wiring.

1. Cut the DC output cord to the length needed.
2. Strip the jacket to expose 3/16 inch (5 mm) of the conductors (see figure 6).

Slide the leads into the supplied 2‑pole captive screw connector and secure them,
using a small screwdriver.

4. To verify the power cord polarity before connecting the plug, connect the power supply
with no load and check the output with a voltmeter.
5. Use the supplied tie wrap to strap the power cord to the extended tail of the connector.
