Service Activation Tasks

Detailed Steps.

The following steps are a more detailed explanation of the previous

section.

To create an IP aggregation point:

1 Launch the Create IP Aggregation Point wizard

To launch the Create IP Range Subscriber wizard, select Edit>Add>IP Aggregation
Point

from the menu, or right-click in the IP Aggregation Point panel and select

Add>IP Aggregation Point

from the pop-up menu. The Create IP Aggregation

Point

wizard will appear

2 Enter the IP network address and netmask

This is the key information for the IP aggregation point. If device access has been
defined in Network Infrastructure Manager, then the IP aggregation point IP address
must come from the allowable pool of addresses.

3 Select the device
