Before you attempt to install or remove an Extreme Networks switch, read the precautions in
Considerations for Installing Power Supplies
MicroVSP switches do not fit into standard 19-inch equipment racks. In order to mount a MicroVSP
switch to a standard 19-inch equipment rack, a two-post kit must be seperately ordered.
A two-post kit can be ordered separately.
The installation process includes the following tasks:
1 Prepare to install the switch.
