Sometimes an emulator will “freeze” and when you
HOLD DOWN P1’s START Button
/OR
“Shazaam” button
and then Press P2’s START Button, nothing happens. When a machine freezes like
this, you can hold down the Power Button you used to start the machine until the machines turns off.
Then, wait 30 seconds and push the Power Button to turn the machine back on.
Another way to turn off your machine is to enter
the “Back End” of the system (Windows) and select
Shut down or Restart. To do this,
HOLD DOWN
P1’s START Button /OR “Shazaam” button and
push P2 Joystick UP. This is like pushing the
“Windows” button on a keyboard. It brings up
the Windows Start Bar menu. Make sure the
AUX switch is to the right. Point with the
Trackball to the Power Icon in the lower left
corner. Click with the left mouse button on
the Power icon and then select “Shut down”
or “Restart” and press the left mouse button
again (see photo). This is also covered in “Back end” section of this manual.
b. Navigating in HyperSpin – To go up or down a HyperSpin menu press UP or DOWN on P1’s (or
P2’s) Joystick. To select a menu item in HyperSpin push P1’s (or P2’s) START button. To move
backward in a HyperSpin menu Hold Down and Press P1’s START button
/OR “Shazaam” button
then press P2’s START button.
c. Alphabetical List of Games in HyperSpin –
Some of the game systems in HyperSpin (like
PlayStation 2) have hundreds of games. To
make it easier to go to a specific game,
HyperSpin allows you to go directly to
specific letters of the alphabet. Suppose for
example you wanted to find a game that
started with the letter A on the PlayStation 2
wheel. You would push LEFT on P1’s Joystick
and HOLD. This will bring up the letter A (see
photo).
If you press left or right on the
joystick again it will take you forwards and
backwards through the alphabet. When you
get to the letter you want, such as the letter A in this example, you press P1’s START Button.
This takes you directly to all the games in the PlayStation 2 wheel that start with the letter A.
