INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL OF EXTOR
VACUUM UNITS
When the equipment has reached the end of its operating life and is no longer needed, it
should be properly disposed.
General
1.
Recycling and disposal should be performed, observing the valid laws and regulations.
2.
Use relevant personal protective equipment and clean the machinery.
3.
Follow the installation, operating and maintenance instructions when demolishing the
equipment. Pay special attention to safety precautions.
4.
Sort the demolished parts according to materials. You can find the information about
materials in the parts list.
5.
Deliver the sorted parts for recycling or disposal as required.
Materials of vacuum unit
Steel parts (collecting vessel, frame)
Other steel parts (blind rivets, nuts, latches)
Aluminium (blade wheel)
Reinforced plastic (parts of casing)
Polyamide (hose connectors, shielding tubings)
PVC (cables)
Soft parts (seals, rubbers)
Electronics (control unit)
Materials for recycling
Aluminium and steels
Polyamide and PVC
Control electronics
Materials unsuitable for recycling
Soft parts, such as seals can be disposed of together with mixed wastes.
Reinforced plastic contains fibreglass and is a mixed waste.
Wastes intended for combustion should not contain any PVC, PTFE or PA parts!
