Resistance and Continuity Measurements 

Warning:

 Before taking any in-circuit resistance measurements, remove 

power from the circuit under test and discharge all capacitors. 

1. 

Set the function switch to the 

Ω

 position for both resistance and continuity 

measurements. 

2. 

Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the '+' 
terminal. 

3. 

Connect the test leads to the circuit being measured and read the displayed 
resistance value. Refer to Figure 16. 

4. 

For Continuity measurements, an audible tone will sound when the reading is below
