STEP 3b – INSTALL MID BRACKETS BOLTS FOR JL (2DR) (8-00-9912 hardware) * IF JLU (4 DR), SKIP TO STEP 4
For Bolt Positions 3 and 4 on the JL (2 door)

Remove the Jeep factory Bolt using Jeep’s Torx driver.

Add 6 spacer washers (C) on top of plastic housing (x4).
13)
Place Bracket on top of spacers, insert Jeep’s bolt (x4), and tighten down. Make snug, but do not overtighten.
