NOTE!
Charging batteries is possible only when the printer is plugged into the
230 V (AC) network.
One should not let the battery become completely discharged, as duration of full charging
lasts approx. 24 hours. It is recommended to turn on external power supply even when
the printer is not used or when it is switched off.
NOTE!
The device includes the lithium battery, type CR1220 and the
accumulator battery Li-Ion, type MPL 10.8/2.3A/Li-Ion.
The battery should be used only in accordance with its intended use.
Improper dealing with the battery may cause fire, explosion or
occurrence of other threats.
4.3. SWITCHING OFF THE PRINTER
In order to switch off the printer, the below instructions should be followed.
1. Move the switch on the right side of the printer into appropriate position.
2. Switch off the power supply from the printer, taking off the plug from the 230 V
AC socket.
NOTE!
In order to switch off completely the power supply from the printer, the
plug should be taken off the 230 V (AC) socket.
4.4. CONNECTING THE PRINTER WITH THE COMPUTER
In order to connect the printer with the computer, the following actions should be taken.
1.
Switch off the printer and computer.
2. Plug the computer to the proper printer’s socket ( RS-232), with use of appropriate
communication cable.
NOTE!
The length of the communication cable should not exceed 2.5 [m].
Use only the original cable delivered with the printer in order to connect
the printer with the computer.
When using cables which are not dedicated by the manufacturer,
electromagnetic disturbances may occur which may damage the device.
