Getting started
1. Plug the DC connector on the mains lead into the power socket DC IN on
the radio.
2. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
3. Press [ ] to turn the radio on.
When you turn the radio on it will automatically synchronise with the local time via the DAB
signal. It will continue to search for the time information until it been synchronised. If after
3 minutes, the clock has not automatically set itself, try repositioning the radio to get
a better reception.
Listening to the DAB radio
1. Turn the radio on by pressing [ ].
2. The radio will begin scanning automatically
for DAB stations. Whilst the radio is scanning,
“Scanning…” will appear on the display along
with a progress bar indicator and a number
showing how many stations have been found.
3. Once the scan has finished, the radio will select the first alphanumerically found station.
4. To browse and select a station, press in and turn the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

control. When you have found a station, press the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK
►
ll ]
control to confirm.
NOTE:
If the auto scan does not find any stations, the radio will enter “Tune Select
Menu”. Turn the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

ll ] control to select either
Manual tune
or
Autoscan
. Confirm by pressing the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

ll ] control.
DAB auto scan
1. To activate auto scan, first press [ l
◄◄
/MENU ]
to enter the menu.
2. Turn the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK
►
ll ] control to
select “Autoscan”, then press the [ VOLUME/
SCROLL/OK
►
ll ] control to confirm.
3. The display will now show “Scanning...”.
All the stations that have been found will be
saved automatically.
4. To listen to one of the saved stations, press
the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK
►
ll ] control and
scroll to the desired station. Confirm by pressing
the [ VOLUME/SCROLL/OK

ll ] control.
