The track can be changed using the buttons on the speaker once the external
device is connected via the 3.5 mm socket.
Connecting a Bluetooth device using NFC
(Near Field Communication)
Note:
This feature is only available if your Bluetooth device is NFC-enabled.
1. Switch on the speaker.
2. Activate
NFC
and
Bluetooth
on your Bluetooth device.
3. Hold the device up to the NFC zone (4) on the speaker.
4. Your Bluetooth device will ask if you wish to connect to the speaker.
5. Answer
Yes
and check the playback via the speaker and your Bluetooth device.
Switching the speaker off
Hold in [
] for 3 seconds, the LED indicator (8) will go out and the speaker will emit
an audible “Power Off” message.
Incoming calls
If you receive a call whilst your phone is connected to the speaker via Bluetooth:
• Press [
] once to answer and use the microphone in the speaker.
• Press [
] once to end the call.
• Hold in [
] for 2 seconds to reject the call.
Care and maintenance
• The speaker has an ingress protection rating of IPX4 which means that it can
withstand being splashed with water from all directions. This means that the speaker
should survive light rain showers and damp conditions. The speaker is however, not
waterproof and should
not be subjected to jets of water or immersion into water
or other liquid.
• Clean the speaker using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If the speaker is not to be used for a long time, the battery should be fully charged
on a regular basis (every second month) to prolong its capacity.
