Charging
Connect the included charge lead to the charging port (12) on the speaker and to
a computer or other USB charger. The charging indicator (11) indicates as follows:
• Steady red light – Charging in progress.
• Steady blue light – Battery fully charged
LED indicator
The LED indicator (8) indicates as follows:
• Flashing blue light – the speaker is detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
• Steady blue light – a Bluetooth device is connected.
• Two quick flashes with a one-second interval – Bluetooth connection broken.
• Steady red light – external device connected to the 3.5 mm socket (10).
• Flashing red light – the battery needs recharging.
Switching the speaker on and connecting
a Bluetooth device
1. Hold in [
]
for 3 seconds, the LED indicator (8) will flash red once and the speaker
will emit an audible “Power On” message. Release [
],
the speaker will emit
an audible, “Pairing” message, and the LED indicator will flash blue to show that
the speaker is detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
3. The speaker will appear in the list of devices on your Bluetooth device as
BNX100
,
select it and connect it to your device (refer to the manual of your device if you
are unsure). The speaker will emit an audible “Connecting” message, and the LED
indicator will change to a steady blue.
4. Start playback on the Bluetooth device. The volume level and track can be changed
on either the speaker or on your external device. Other playback settings can be
controlled from the external device.
5. If the Bluetooth connection is broken and you need to make the speaker detectable for
Bluetooth devices again, hold in [
] for 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue.
Note:
If you are prompted to enter a PIN code on your Bluetooth device, you should
enter
0000
(four zeroes). Certain Bluetooth devices may also require you to approve
the connection.
Connecting a device via the 3.5 mm aux-in socket
1. Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable between your device and the aux input (10) on
the speaker.
2. Start playback on the device.
