ASSEMBLY STEPS (make reference to numbered images):
1) Remove the seat from the bike using the ignition key.
2) Remove the retaining screw and remove the bike seat.
3) Loosen the tie-wraps and disconnect the electrical wiring of indicators lights and license plate ’s light.
4) Using a 10mm socket wrench, remove the four screws that secure the original number plate holder to
the
bike’s frame.
5) Remove the original tail tidy and its electrical wiring.
6) Put some grease or adhesive on the white plastic washers.
7) Apply the white washers on the tapped holes of the license plate holder, see images.
8) Place the new Evotech aluminium plate holder, see images.
9) Fasten the 4 M6 screws, with their washers. Now the number plate support will be well steady to the
bike
’s frame.
10-11) Following the technical drawing prepare on your table the adjustable part of evotech kit with the
accessories purchased.
12) Following the technical drawing connect the adjustable part of the license plate holder to the aluminum
support, tighten the screws and pay attention to the different plastic spacers.
13) Insert the cylidric m3 pin into the hole. It regulates and block the adjustment of your new tail tidy kit ;
30° (unladen).
14) Insert the wiring into its specific slot and secure it with a tie-wrap, see image.
15) Check the full and correct fastening of all bolts and nuts.
16) Remake the electrical connections through the appropriate adapters and check the correct working of
the lighting devices.
17) Assemble the seat and tighten its fixing screw.
