Replacing the battery
Danger!

External voltages may still be connected even if the operating voltage is
switched off.
Warning!

Only authorized and qualified electricians are permitted to open the hous
-
ing. The electronic module is not equipped with a mains switch.
The battery is required for the real time clock in case of a power failure.
If the time is not correct or if time-controlled functions show faulty behav
-
ior, the battery must be changed. After five years at the latest. Proceed
as follows:

Disconnect the electronic module from the power supply.

Remove the housing cover of the electronic module. Unscrew the
housing cover and remove it carefully. Hook into holder on the basic
housing.

Remove the battery from the holder and dispose of it in accordance
with the regulations.
Attention!
Environmental hazard!
Do not throw away or burn batteries. The batteries must be disposed of
in accordance with environmental protection regulations.

Insert the new battery, type CR2032.

Fit the housing cover of the electronic module again. Tighten the
housing screws by hand (to a maximum torque of 0.7 Nm
± 0.15 Nm).

Switch on mains voltage.

Set date and time, no other settings need to be made.
