6.0 Preparation / Introduction
Used terms in this instruction manual for photovoltaic power supplies are: solar plants,
photovoltaic plants, PV plants, PV generators, etc.
The Solarmex 1000 mem is supplied with 4 pc. batteries 1.5V. Prior to usage please insert the
batteries.
●
Remove the two screws from the back of the instrument.
●
Replace the batteries with new batteries 1.5V IEC LR6, AA.
●
Replace the battery case cover and tighten the screws
7.0 Testing
Warning
! Don’t disconnect PV connectors under load. Please follow the safety notes of PV
connector manufacturers.
Attention
! Solar modules produce voltages also under clouds and shadows. In order to avoid
electrical shock, the valid safety and VDE regulations regarding excessive contact voltages must
receive utmost attention, when working with voltages exceeding 120V (60V) DC.
Switch On Solarmex 1000 mem

Shortly press the button to switch-on the instrument.
●
Press the button twice to switch-on the backlight function.
●
Repeat pressing the button to switch-off the backlight function.
●
Long press the button (>2s) to switch-off the instrument.
