Unit doesn't power on
Check for proper installation of the power plug.
Unit's audible alarm doesn't
sound when out of temp range?
Did you just power up the refrigerator and is the
system pulling down to set point temperature? No
alarm will sound until the set point is met (4 °C
default)
Did you have a recent power failure and is the system
pulling down to set point temperature? No alarm will
sound until the set point is met (4°C default)
LED Indicator Issues
Solid red
Data logging error but unit is
operating normal
Download data and clear the data log. If light
remains red there may be another issue with the
internal data log; download data and contact
Phononic Customer Care.
Flashing Red
Data logging error during power
failure mode (15 second intervals)
Download data and clear the data log. If continues
flashing red, possibly there’s an issue with the
backup battery power running low. Replace it with a
CR123A battery.
Not Lit
Power failure and no battery backup
power
Change the battery
Solid Green
Normal operation
No action required
Flashing Green
Data Logging is active in a power
failure mode (15 second intervals)
Restore power to the system
Interior Concerns
I don't feel air flow inside the unit
This cold-walled system doesn't require a fan to
circulate air to unify temperatures. If the walls are
cold to the touch, then it’s working.
I have frost forming on the walls
Are you opening the door frequently? If so, the
cooling system is working hard to maintain the target
set point and condensation may freeze on the walls.
It will thaw during the next defrost cycle. Run a
manual defrost cycle if desired.
I have condensation collecting on
the walls
In a cold-wall system humidity will cause
condensation to form on the walls.
Door doesn't close/closes
incorrectly
Check to make sure something isn't blocking it from
closing completely.
