5. RF Receiver
The RF Receiver is installed on the bottom of the power pack.
6. Circuit Breaker
The circuit breaker mounted on the front right-hand side of the Evochlor Chlorinator is
designed to trip out in the event of a power surge or overload. When tripped, the yellow
centre button will pop out, shutting down the unit. To reset, press the yellow centre
button back in to resume normal function.
Note: Turn off the chlorinator at the power point before attempting to reset the
circuit breaker. Should the circuit breaker continue to trip, then a local Evolution
distributor should be contacted.
7. Switch
This switch allows you to choose the operation mode for the chlorinator and pool pump.
The
Wireless Control
selection to the left enables the chlorinator and pool pump to turn
on and off with both the Remote Control Unit (see Section 6.0) and with the use of “The
Hub” mobile device app where timer schedules can be set (see Section 7.0). The
Manual
selection to the right allows the chlorinator and pump to work continuously until the
switch setting is physically changed. The
Off
position in the middle will turn the power
off to the chlorinator and circulation pump.
6.0
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
6.1
The Evochlor Wireless Chlorinator is supplied with a Remote Control Unit that allows
on and off switching of the chlorinator power pack. Channel 1 controls the chlorinator
and circulation pump power outlet. Channel 2 controls the auxiliary power outlet. The
remote is designed to be used within 30m of the power pack RF Receiver.

WARNING:
The Remote Control Unit is an electronic device and is not waterproof. It is
not designed to be used in wet conditions. Ingress of water can damage the unit.
