Technical Support

Evolis wishes to serve its customers in the best possible manner and has issued a comprehensive range
of technical support services that can be found in this guide and on www.evolis.com.
This section provides first level troubleshooting help for the Tattoo Rewrite printer.

Understanding messages from Control Panel 

Evolis has enforced reliability when designing the Tattoo Rewrite. Meanwhile, some issues may arise.
The following chapter will help you spot and troubleshoot any potential issue during installation or
operation.

Overview of the Printer Control Panel

The printer has a control panel on its top, which features four LEDs with self-explanatory symbols des-
cribing the printer operating status.
These LEDs are as follow:

Push button

Card delay

Card is missing

Magnetic encoding error
