Therefore, it is recommended to enable EWF when using CF card.
Caution
Only one write filter is activated for each partition – otherwise, data may be lost.
EWF is preinstalled in SIMATIC IPC image.
Please make sure only one write filter is used in one partition, otherwise, data may
be lost.
Explanation
By default, Enhanced Write Filter is disabled in Windows Embedded Standard
2009. After the operating system is set up, data should be backed up, and EWF
enabled.
2. Set up EWF
EWFMGR.EXE program can be used to install, enable or disable EWF. Use the
commands and prompts to call the program. The following functions can be provided.
