9. Cleaning or changing of the cartridge filter
The cartridge filter is installed under the lid of the dirt container (suction lid). This cartridge
filter prevents the intrusion of dirt into the motor.
If the cleaner operates with diminished capacity, the cartridge filter has to be cleaned. If the
cartridge filter itself is damaged, it must be replaced by a cartridge filter of the same
construction and same characteristics.
For cleaning or changing the cartridge filter please proceed as follows:
•
Switch off the cleaner by actuation of the OFF-switch.
•
Loosen the tension ring or tension clamps of the motor head.
•
For model „Sensor“: loosen the electrical connection of the liquid level control
•
Take down the motor head and deposit it carefully.
•
Twist off the screw joint of the cartridge filter.
•
Pull the cartridge filter from the pipe socket and replace it by a new cartridge filter of the
same construction and characteristics.
•
If the filter should only be cleaned, you can do that now. The filter consists of water-
tolerant polypropylene and can be wet cleaned.

Der Patronenfilter muss zur Reinigung aus dem Gerät entnommen werden.
Note!
For cleaning the cartridge filter has to be taken out of the device.
•
If you position a new or cleaned cartrdige filter onto the pipe socket and tighten the
screw joint, pay close attention to the perfect and stable seating of the cartridge filter.
•
Position the motor head on the container
•
Tighten tension ring or tension clamps and pay attention to a perfect seating!
Attention !
Pay attention to the right seating of the motor head and the tension ring/ tension
clamps!
•
The cleaner is now again ready for operation.
