Prior to installation, first use, maintenance or use of the vacuum cleaner, you must first
familiarise yourself thoroughly with the content of this instruction manual.
•
Only authorised persons may use the equipment.
•
Do not wear open or loose clothing which may get caught in the vacuum cleaner.
•
The area in which maintenance work (scheduled and extraordinary) is carried out must
always be clean and dry.
Repair work may only be carried out once the equipment has been switched
off and disconnected from the power supply.
•
Repair work may only be carried out by specialist personnel.
•
The machine must not be left out in the rain or standing in water. Neither must it be used
in such conditions.
•
This equipment is not a toy and must not be used as such. Proceed with extreme caution
when using the equipment in the vicinity of children.
•
Do not insert objects into the vents. Do not use the equipment if a vent is blocked. Do
not allow the vents to become clogged with dust, fibres, hair or other materials which
may restrict air flow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other body parts away from
vents and moving parts.
•
Do not use the equipment if the power cable or connector is damaged.
•
You must stop using the equipment immediately if:
it is not in perfect working order
it falls to/is dropped on the floor
it shows evidence of external damage
it gets wet or is dropped into water.
In such cases, it will need to be checked by Customer Service.
•
Never move or carry the equipment by pulling on the power cable. Make sure that the
cable does not get trapped in doors and is not routed via sharp corners or edges. Never
allow the equipment to run over the power cable. Keep the cable away from hot
surfaces. Do not touch the connector or equipment with wet hands.
If a problem occurs when using the equipment in spite of compliance with the instruction
manual, switch it off immediately and disconnect it from the power supply.
