VENTILATION SYSTEM
10.1 Head Compartment Ventilation
Door & Vents
Ventilation to head compartment is provided by
vents in the door and an opening port window.
The door itself is held in the open position by an
automatic magnetic latch. Make sure the door is
fully latched in the closed position before operat-
ing the boat above idle speed.
Port Window
An opening port window is located in the side
of the head compartment. The port window is
equipped with a screen and secured in the closed
position by three twist action locks. The locks
should be adjusted so they are tight enough to
seal the window in the closed position, but not so
tight that they break the plastic.
Always make sure the window is closed and se-
cured with the cam levers whenever the boat is
underway. Sea spray could enter the head com-
partment through the open window and damage
equipment or items stowed there.
