operating the boat.
Seat Base and Helm Seats
The helm and passenger seats are equipped with a
flip up bolster to provide more room between the
seats and the helm. The bolsters convert the seats
to a leaning post style seat with a backrest, allow-
ing the operator and passenger to sit or stand at
the helm. To convert each seat to a leaning post,
lift the front of the seat cushion to raise the bolster
and push it back above the seat cushion.
Arm rests on each side provide a more comfortable
driving position and swing up into the backrest
cushion to make it easier to enter and exit the
helm area. A molded in footrest on the rear of the
console makes the helm more comfortable when
the bolsters are set to the seat position.
A molded recess located in the seat base below
the seats is designed for fire extinguishers. The
recessed mounting location keeps the fire extin -
guishers out of the way and readily available.
Bow Seats and Storage Compartments
There are 3 storage compartments located in the
bow below the seats that drain overboard through
fittings in the hull. The side compartment hatches
are secured with draw latches and the center com-
partment hatch near the bow is secured with a lock-
able “push to close” latch. Each hatch is equipped
with a gas charged spring that helps raise the hatch
and holds it in the open or closed position.
The bow seat cushions are removable and are
secured to the hatches with snaps. The cushions
should be removed and stored in the head compart-
ment or another safe location out of the weather
when the boat is not being used.
Forward Storage Box
An insulated storage box is located below the
cockpit sole, just forward of the console seats. The
hatch is equipped with a gas charged hatch lifter
that holds the hatch in the open position. Drain
rails around the hatch are equipped with drains that
are connected to thru-hull fittings in the hull below
the water line. A flush, twist lock latch secures the
hatch in the closed position. There is a large red
dot in the handle that indicates that the latch is
in the open position and the hatch is not secure.
Always make sure the hatch is closed with the latch
in the secured position before operating the boat
above idle speed.
