Flange
Insert the handle and piston assembly
into the flange.

Press downward on the handle until
it snaps into place with an audible
click.
Note: When installing the handle for
the first time, it may require extra force.
Assemble Your Breast Pump
Install the piston seal onto the piston.
Install the handle onto the piston.
Install the Memory Flex fastener.
Install the membrane on the valve.
Install the valve onto the flange. Install
the bottle onto the flange.

IMPORTANT: Wash your hands well with soap and water before handling pump
parts.

Check the Fit of the Flange
Place the flange to your breast with your nipple in the exact center, as shown. If the
flange is too large, use the flange insert. Insert the flange insert into the flange and
try again.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT
use the flange insert if your nipple is larger than the
center opening.
Correct flange size.
During pumping, your
nipple should move
freely in the breast
flange tunnel. You
should see space
around the nipple. A
minimal amount of your
areola is drawn into the
tunnel with the nipple.
Flange is too small.
During pumping, some
or all of your nipple
rubs against the sides
of the breast flange
tunnel. Remove the
flange insert.
Flange is too large.
During pumping, more
areola is drawn into the
breast flange with your
nipple. Your areola
may rub against the
side of the breast
flange tunnel. Use
flange insert.
