GROUNDING
Be sure your generator is connected at ground to avoid
an electric shock. The generator has a grounded terminal
for this purpose.
The ground wire should be made of # 10 AWG. A Smaller
wire should not be appropiated.
The other end of the ground wire must be securely
fastened to an approved ground source. Refer to the
local regulations for grounding, Any rods or pipe used
for groundig must be driven eight feet deep or buried in
the deepest possible trench.
The DC outlet must be used to charge 12 volts battery.
Make the connection following the cables from the
generator, black to -, red to +.
Remove all electrical loads from the generator.
Rotate fuel shut valve into the ON position.
Rotate the engine switch to the ON position.
Adjust the choke lever.
Pull the starter rope with a brisk smooth motion.
Return the choke lever to the original position.
After each startup, allow the engine to run for 2 - 3
minutes with no load.
Engine speed is preset to provide proper output
voltage. Never attempt to modify or adjust the
engine speed or output voltage.
After initial start up the engine has to adjust, the first 25
hours are consider as adjustment period, during this time,
run your generator with less than 75% of load.
Always check the engine oil level before start up`,
screw in the dipstick securely. Change oil the first
5 hours of work and after this period change it every
25 hours.

Shut off and remove all electrical load devices from the
generator.
Allow the engine to run for 2 - 3 minutes with no electrical
loads.
Rotate the engine switch to the OFF position.
Close the fuel supply valve.
Verify that the generator has completely stopped.
Allow the unit to cool before storage.
The total loads should
n o t e x c e e d t h e
continuos power of
generator.
Reduce the loads if
the AC or DC turns
off. Push the Overload
Protection System to
start again.
NOTE:
The specified power
of the generator can
be calculated if you
multiply volts and
amps. The result
are the Watts. Never
exceed the maximum
power of the generator.
Refer to the owner´s
manual or labels to
know the wattage
of the appliances or
tools.
