TIPS AND USEFUL ADVICE
Before use
· Remove labels and, using washing-up liquid, wash the
cookware to remove any production impurities.
For frying pans with non-stick coating
· It is recommended that you always wipe the inside of
the frying pan with a little cooking oil before use. This
optimises the non-stick properties of the coating and
extends product lifespan.
During use
· Always choose the hob which best matches the diameter
of the pot/pan.
· Do not overheat pots and pans. The correct temperature
can be established by placing a bit of fat in the bottom,
and when it starts sizzling, the pot/pan is ready for
using. Turn down the heat to medium when frying. If the
fat starts to smoke, the temperature is too high.
· On induction cookers, pots and pans must never be
heated while empty. They will heat up extremely quickly,
and risk being damaged.
· If pots and pans are used on a gas cooker, the outer
surface may become discoloured, but it will not damage
the product.
· Do not add salt before the food is boiling as it may cause
the stainless steel to corrode.
· Avoid damaging the coating in the frying pan by always
making sure to use silicone-coated, plastic or wood
utensils. Eva Trio and Eva Solo silicone-coated, plastic
or wood kitchen utensils are specially designed for the
purpose.
