necessary to set the necessary value of the dead zone and all the signals coming from the objects
locating in the dead zone will be ignored.
ATTENTION! If you set the dead zone larger than the depth value in this location, the
sonar will show the depth two times more than what it is actually (for example: dead zone - 1.5
meters, and the depth of the reservoir - 1.4 meters; the sonar will make the measurements and will
print the depth value – 2.8 m). Such situation is typical for winter and small ponds. It is
recommended to adjust dead zone or to switch to a mode “Depth gauge” or “Fleet water”.
Sound and its identification
This MENU point enables to turn off the sound completely, to turn on
sound only when changing over the scale or to “peep” also the fish detection. In the last case the
minimal fish size is selected, and upon defining it the device will beep.

Switch on of the sound record of the fish detection plays role only in the modes providing
for the reflection of the processed data, i.e. the fish signs: when the device detects the fish and

modes not provided for the reflection of the processed data the fish sounding is not performed.
