INSTALLATION
Installing/Replacing the lamp
DANGER TO LIFE!
Only install the lamp with the device switched off!
Unplug from mains before!
The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged
or deformed due to the heat!
CAUTION!
Before replacing the lamp, unplug mains lead and let the lamp cool down (approx. 5 minutes).
During the installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer's
notes!
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
For the installation, you need a 230 V/750 W R-7-s or 230 V/1000 W R-7-s pole burner.
Procedure:
Step 1:
Remove the color filter frame.
Step 2:
Loosen the fasteners of the protective grid with an appropriate screw driver and remove the
protective grid.
Step 3:
If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the lamp-socket.
Step 4:
Carefully insert the pole burner into the lamp-socket.
Step 5:
Replace the protective grid, tighten the fasteners back into position and replace the color filter
frame.
Do not operate this device without the protective grid!

Please consider the EN 60598-2-17and the respective national standards during the installation!
The installation must only be carried out by an authorized dealer!
The installation of the device has to be built and constructed in a way that it can hold 10 times the weight for
1 hour without any harming deformation.
The installation must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment, e.g. an appropriate catch net.
This secondary safety attachment must be constructed in a way that no part of the installation can fall down
if the main attachment fails.
