STAND ALONE-MODE
Sound Control
To choose Sound Control Mode, press the MODE button.
When the display shows
SUD
, the device is in sound controlled mode.
You can do without a controller as the device features a built-in microphone, which provides automatic sound
control. You can adjust the sensitivity with the rotary-control on the rearpanel.
Autom atic
A chaser is a sequence of different steps that will be called up one after another in a continuous loop. In Auto
Mode the chasers are called up automatically in a continuous loop.
To choose Auto Mode, press the MODE button. When the display shows
AUTO
, the device is in auto mode.
The desired speed values can be selected via the UP or DOWN buttons. (from 001 = very fast to 100 = very
slow).
Rem ote control via RC-2 controller
After connection, the device switches into sound control mode, irrespective of what is shown on the LC
display.

. Press the BLACKOUT-button, in order to set Blackout.
The control LED is permanently on in Blackout mode.

Press the PROGRAMS/STROBE-button in order to set Auto Mode or Sound Control Mode:
- When the control LED flashes, the device is in Sound Control Mode
- When the control LED is permanently on, it is in Auto Mode

Press the SPEED-button continuously in order to set the desired speed (increasing) when in Auto Mode.
Press and hold the SPEED-button for 2-3 seconds in order to set the strobe function.
DMX MODE
The Control Board allows you to assign the DMX fixture address, which is defined as the first channel from
which the LED MAT-Bar Strobe Combo will respond to the controller.
Addressing
Press the MODE button until the display shows
512
.
Set the desired address via the UP or DOWN buttons.
Controlling:
After having addressed the LED MAT-Bar Strobe Combo, you may now start operating it via your lighting
controller.
Note:
It’s necessary to insert the XLR termination plug (with 120 Ohm) in the last lighting in the link in order to
ensure proper transmission on the DMX data link.
DMX Channel Selection: Choosing a DMX Channel Mode
After having set the desired address(es), you can now choose a DMX Channel Mode. (2 CH or 10 CH).
Set the desired mode via the UP or DOWN buttons.
