Caution:
At the last fixture, the DMX-cable has to be terminated with a terminator. Solder a 120
Ω
resistor
between Signal (–) and Signal (+) into a 3-pin XLR-plug and plug it in the DMX-output of the last fixture.
Analog output
Connect analog power packs via the 8-pin DIN-socket. The occupation is as follows:
6. OPERATION
After you connected the device to the mains, the LCD-12 is ready for use.
6.1 Hold-Dimmer Mode
Call spots manually:
In the Hold Dimmer Mode, the connected spots can be called manually and be controlled via the channel
faders.
Adjust the desired function via the channel faders.
1. Turn controller ON
2. Press Mode Select until Hold Dimmer LED is illuminated
3. Adjust channel faders
4. Adjust dimmer fader for total output
This function is useful for theatres and booth illumination.
6.2 Hold-Sound Mode
Spots as light organ:
In this mode, the LCD-12 works as light organ. Every channel is assigned to a special frequency. The spots
reacts in accordance to the music level. Additionally, the Flash-buttons can be used..
1. Turn controller ON
2. Press Mode Select until Hold Sound LED is illuminated
3. Adjust dimmer fader for total output
4. Adjust Audio fader until the spots react to the sound signal
This function is designed for entertainers and party rooms.
6.3 Prog-Sound Mode
Spots run sound-controlled through internal programs:
In this mode, all 53 programs of the LCD-12 can be run sound-controlled.
You can manually adjust the individual channels via the channel faders, the dimmer fader and via the flash-
buttons.
1. Turn controller ON
2. Press Mode Select until Prog Sound LED is illuminated
3. Adjust dimmer fader for total output
4. Adjust Audio fader until the spots react to the sound signal
5. Select the desired program via the Prog Select-button
