SETTING THE TIME MANUALLY

If the DCF signal cannot be received, the time must be set manually.

-

   Press the “MODE” button (7), until you come to the clock time mode.

-

    Press and hold the “STOP/RESET” button (6) for about 5 seconds. The 

hours

 

start to fl ash.

-

    Set the hours using the “START” button (8). For quick adjustment, hold the 

button down for a longer period of time.

-

   Press the “STOP/RESET” button (6), the 

minutes

  start fl ashing.

-

    Set the minutes using the “START” button (8). For quick adjustment, hold the 

button down for a longer period of time.

-

   Press the “STOP/RESET” button (6), the 

seconds

 start fl ashing.

-

   Set the seconds back to “0” using the “START” button (8). 

-

    Press the “MODE” (7) or “STOP/RESET” button (8), to save the setting.

TOGGLING BETWEEN THE 12H /24H MODES

If the normal time display is shown, briefl y press the “STOP/RESET” button (6) to 
toggle between the 12h/24h modes.

In the 12h mode, the symbol “AM” appears to the left of the time during the fi rst half 
of the day and “PM” appears during the second half of the day.

OPERATION

Count-Up Mode (Stopwatch Mode)

-

    Press the “MODE” button (7) until 00:00 appears in the display.

-

    Press the “START” button (8) to start the count-up timer.

-

    Using the “STOP/RESET” (6) control, you can stop or pause the time and then 

you continue by pressing the “START” (8) control. 

-

    Press the “STOP/RESET” button (6) to reset the display time to 00:00.

Count-Down Mode (Timer Mode)

-

    Press the “MODE” button (7) until 00:00 appears in the display.

-

     Set the time using the buttons “10M” (2) = 10 minutes, “5M” (3) = 5 

minutes, “3M” (4) = 3 minutes, and “1M” (5) = 1 minute. 
e.g. to set 29 minutes, press the „10M“ button twice, and the - the „5M“, „3M“ 
and „1M“ once respectively.

-

    Press the “START” button (8) to start the count-down timer.

-

    By pressing the “STOP/RESET” button (6), you can stop the time or make an 

intermediate stop, and start again using the “START” button (8).

-

    By pressing the “STOP/RESET” button (6) again, you reset the display time to 

00:00. 

-

    After the timer’s set time has lapsed, the beep signal sounds for about 30 

seconds, and the device switches automatically from the count-down to the 
count-up mode. Thus, you can see immediately how long the time has lapsed.

-

    The alarm can be turned off using the “STOP/RESET” button (6).



The maximum measurable time for the count-down/up mode is 99 minutes 
and 59 seconds.

°C/°F TEMPERATURE UNITS SELECTION AND 
DISPLAY

In the clock mode, briefl y press the “START” button (8) to select the tempera-
ture unit in order to display the indoor temperature display in °C (Celsius) or °F 
(Fahrenheit).

The temperature is updated by the sensor (9) every 16 seconds.

If the temperature drops below – 10 °C, “LO” is shown in the display.

If the temperature rises above 75 °C, “HI” is shown in the display.

INSTALLATION/ASSEMBLY

The timer can be installed or set up in various ways:

-

    Using the hanger (10), you can hang up the timer on a screw or a nail, or by 

threading a band (not included) through the hanger fasten it in many other places.

-

    Insert the table stand into the two openings on the back (11) and place the timer 

on a level surface.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Apart from replacing the battery, the device requires no maintenance. Only clean 
the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth or a small brush.

Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as they could damage the 
surface of the case.

Do not press on the sensitive display surface.

DISPOSAL

a) Product

   Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed 

of in the household waste!

 

 Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the 
current statutory requirements.

 

 Remove any inserted battery and dispose of it separately from the product.

b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and 
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!

   Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these sym-

bols to indicate that disposal in the household waste is forbidden. The sym-
bols for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead 
(marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g., underneath 
the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).

You can dispose of your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at your 
community’s collection point or any place where batteries/rechargeable batteries 
are sold!

You thereby fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the 
environment.
