Heater cleaning
1. Before cleaning the heater, unplug the cord, empty the water tank, and
make sure you have given the soleplate enough time to cool down.
2. Carefully turn your iron over, and pry up the cover plate by smoothly
inserting a small spread-eagled-screwdriver into the prying part of the
cleaning hole. Make sure you only insert the screwdriver to a maximum
length of 2mm so that you don’t damage the seal during this process.
3. Unscrew the three screws of the heater filtering unit with a cross-shaped
screwdriver.
4. Take off the heat filtering unit and use a Q-tip to clean it thoroughly.
5. After cleaning, reinstall the cover plate by inserting the two foot fasteners
at the bottom first and then securely pressing the top for proper placement.
