Post filter replacement
Turn off water supply.
Close ball valve on holding tank and then open R.O. Faucet.
Disconnect tubing to filter.
Lift plastic retainer clamps on post filter and rotate clamp clear.
Remove end fitting.
Remove all Teflon tape from inlet/outlet post-filter fittings.
Replace post carbon filter.
Re-wrap with new Teflon tape.
Reinstall end fitting.
Reconnect faucet line.
Secure clamp.
Turn on raw water and open storage tank ball valve.
Open and close faucet rapidly to discharge all traces of carbon.

Make a mild cleaning solution of dish soap (or chlorine bleach) and potable water in
the plastic bowl.
Turn off R.O. System, drain storage tank and remove membrane element and
pre-filter fit post-filter.
Membrane element must remain wet. Put membrane element in a plastic bag.
Fill empty pre-filter housing with sanitizing solution and turn on raw water. After tank
is full, let system stand idle for approximately 10 minutes.
Turn off water.
Drain storage tank via the R.O. Faucet.
Re install new pre-filters and membrane element.
Replace post filter.
Disconnect line to faucet and put approximately 10 drops of sanitizing solution in
these lines and reconnect.
Flush carbon fines and bleach from lines after the system has attached to make water
again.
