6.4.3 ERROR MESSAGES
Error message in 6 V mode. The battery voltage is below 5.5 V, after a charging time of
5 hours the battery voltage is below 6 V. The battery is probably defective, have the
battery checked.
No battery connected, battery connected incorrectly, battery voltage does not match the
charging programme set, overheating.
Connect the battery correctly, select the appropriate charging programme, disconnect the
charger from the battery, let it cool down.
The automatic charging process for lead-acid batteries (wet AGM or gel batteries) follows a 9-stage characteristic
curve in order to charge the battery gently and optimally, see Fig. 3.
For lithium batteries, the charger uses a 7-step characteristic curve that is adapted to the characteristics of this battery
type, see Fig. 4
